This fountain was made in the studio and mostly indoors on the cold days. The larger pieces had to be made outside when weather permitted. The mix was poured around pieces of 5 inch PVC pipe and couplings so the long pieces could lock together. The water tubing was then run up through the pipe. A large flat disk was made and placed level in the bottom of the pool. The rubber liner was laid in place then another large flat disk was placed on this. This provided needed stability and prevented puncturing of the liner. There is a broad carved tripod with a PVC nipple below water level that the tall central column locks onto.
